Growing up in a Mexican household, we learned that the best way to show love was through food. There is no better feeling than your grandma greeting you home with your favorite food. Small gestures like this one can really make you feel so loved and cared for, teaching you a love language through food.
Nothing says I love you more than a home cooked meal. From picking out a recipe that you think they’ll love, to seeing their faces when they finally try it, the thought and affection put into it is what makes it such a meaningful gift. Because of this, we wanted to share with you a delicious recipe that we’re sure your special someone will love. It is also so simple to prepare. The main ingredients are your favorite type of pasta, bacon, parmesan cheese, and some Chile de Arbol flakes. We hope you and your loved one enjoy it!
Delicious Spicy and Creamy Pasta

Ingredients

1/4 onion
-
Bacon
-
1 lb of penne pasta
-
5 chile de arbol peppers
-
1 tbsp minced garlic
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
1 tbsp butter
-
2 tbsp tomato paste
-
1 cup parmesan cheese
-
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Start cooking your pasta and chop your onion and bacon in the meantime.
Grind 5 Chile de Arbol peppers and set aside for later.
Heat a separate pan on high heat and add the bacon first, wait a few minutes and then add the onion. Cook for around 5 minutes or until the bacon is fully cooked and the onion is soft.
Add a tbsp of minced garlic and mix.
Pour the heavy cream and add a tbsp of butter and 2 tbsp of tomato paste. Mix and stir until forming a thick cream. Then add the Chile de Arbol flakes and the parmesan cheese.
Finally add your pasta and mix until the pasta is all covered with the cream sauce.
Finally, add some salt and pepper to taste. Serve and enjoy!
